De Moerenaar is an artisanal cheese maker in the flat polder region near the Flemish west coast, located in the westernmost corner on the border with France.
Using milk from its own cattle, the farm produces many different types of cheese, including Gouda-type cheeses, white flora, red smear, beer cheeses, semi-hard abbey cheeses, herb cheeses, etc., all of which are entitled to bear the farm cheese label.
De Moerenaar distinguishes itself through its semi-artisan, creamy quality cheeses, which are matured in-house according to the strictest quality standards.
Recently, all cheeses can now also be offered pre-packaged in slices or portions.
