The Federation of Belgian Cheese Specialists is organizing the Young Cheese Talent of Belgium competition for the second time.
The competition consists of preparing a cheese platter according to the jury’s instructions. These instructions relate to the theme, the number of people, the purpose of the platter, etc.
All cheeses and platters are provided by the organization, as well as garnishes and cheese flags.
Candidates have 1 hour to prepare the platter. For the selection of cheeses, 30 minutes are allocated.
The jury’s instructions are only revealed one hour before the competition, ensuring all candidates start on equal footing.
The winner will be awarded the title “Young Cheese Talent of Belgium 2025.”
