Competitions for Apprentice Butchers
The JuniorCup is the professional competition for butchers in training. A unique opportunity for young talents to showcase their craftsmanship and strive for perfection. The competition is tailored to students and follows the same model as the Eurobeef Competitions. Participation is possible individually or as a class group.

The regulations specify that only game hunted on Belgian territory in 2025 may be used; this is to exclude farmed animals (rabbits, fallow deer, and others).
Regarding venison: hunting of male deer opens in Wallonia on 15 September, and for female animals on 1 October. So if we prepare a deer terrine with meat frozen at the end of 2024 … we will certainly accept the terrine.
The same applies to venison, pheasant, wild duck, etc.
