The Belgium Chocolate Awards, organized by the trade magazine Chocolaterie, honor the most exceptional chocolate creations in five categories: Praline, Bean-to-Bar, Corporate Gift, Hollow Figures and White Label.
At Artisan, the best pralines and bean-to-bar bars will be judged during a live jury session on Tuesday 30 September. The awards ceremony will take place the same day.
Category: Best Praline of the Year
Participants will work around the theme 'Go Nuts'. The filling may consist of a maximum of 2 different layers and 1 texture; the mold will be provided by the organizers.
Category: Best Bean-to-Bar Chocolate Bar
This category is aimed at chocolatiers who manage the entire production process themselves – from selecting high-quality cocoa beans to roasting, grinding, and processing them into finished chocolate.
